Recently, 10,000 mangrove propagules were planted at El Purgatorio estuary in Guapinol by an environmental protection group denominated, «Defensores del Medio Ambiente.» This morning, FUNDESUR with support from the Forest Conservation Institute carried out a brief technical visit to monitor the reforested areas.
