Fundesur, in collaboration with Operation Blessing and Global Brigades, conducted a follow-up tour of the Pueblo Nuevo +5 Water Project on Isla Boca de Río Viejo. The main goal of this project is to ensure access to potable water for local communities. During the visit, key components of the system were evaluated, including the well, the pumping system, the storage tank, and the distribution line, to ensure their proper and sustainable operation.
This follow-up is essential to verify that the water system meets its objective of providing a constant and safe supply. Active collaboration with community representatives and strategic partners has been key to the project's success, demonstrating that joint efforts can significantly improve the quality of life for residents.
Fundesur reaffirms its commitment to sustainable development in southern Honduras, continuously working to provide essential resources such as potable water and promote a healthier future for its inhabitants.
