Olive ridley sea turtles released

FUNDESUR is very happy to once again be part of the team, which together with CVC-GOLF, fights to continue conserving this wonderful species denominated the Olive Ridley Turtle. This morning, the Foundation participated in a small symbolic turtle release as part of its 2020 closing ceremony. This year, more than 51,000 turtles were released in the framework of the Olive Ridley Turtle Protection and Conservation Project, successfully exceeding the project’s goal. The Foundation is committed to continue working to release more turtles in the coming year. A special thanks to Grupo Elcatex, Minerales de Occidente, Emsula, Inversiones Amalgamadas, La Mundial, Ayre de Honduras and Aquafinca St Peter Fish for participating in this important environmental project.
